Become a Member of Boldmere Golf Club

To gain a handicap a member plays 3 consecutive rounds of golf, with a member who has an official handicap. The three score cards are handed in and you are issued with a official Handicap Index which is recognised all over the world.

Boldmere hold weekly competitions, go to the events section to see the current fixture list. We also offer away days and occasional midweek events.

Warwick Union no longer issue plastic Members Cards, there is a mobile phone app which you download from the https://www.warwickshiregolf.com/ website or the Play Store called “igCounty” and choose Warwickshire. This is a very useful app to have if you play at other Warwickshire Union affiliated golf courses you can receive reduced green fees you just show your membership card as it appears on your app.

Members times are reserved on Sunday mornings, letting people play with different players. Mytimes on-line booking system can also be used outside of this.

1) Payment is made by the club to golfs governing bodies for all members of £20, which pays for: -

• Membership and access on-line to England Golf & Master Scoreboard.

• Golf insurance provided by England Golf (please look at terms of cover, in case you wish to procure additional cover).

• Membership of the Warwickshire County golf union, offering both access and discounts.

(if you pay membership to another club (referred to as home) and they pay for it, this does not apply) .

2) Membership of Boldmere Golf Club is Gentlemen £45, Ladies and Juniors £25, this funds the club’s operations.

• Free entry to monthly medal and stableford competitions, with keepsakes for winners.

• Boldmere Golf Clubs handicapping committee will maintain your WHS handicap enabling you to input scores, sort issues and use world wide.

• Full handicap advice available to new and existing members.

• Supporting the ongoing running costs of the club.

• An annual club championship played over 2 rounds.

• Access to the annual Pro Am.

• Opportunity to represent one of the club’s teams in outside competitions.

• Network of golfing friends to enjoy a round of golf and a cup of tea.

3) Entry to “major” competitions. There are around 20 of these annually, entry fees fund keepsakes, trophies and boards. Costs are £2.50 each, with your membership 5 for £10 or all for £30. eg a new male member pays £65 or £75 with 5 comp fees or £95 all in, it can be paid in year.

Membership fee does not include green fees.

Boldmere has 2 teams, the Alliance for lower handicap players , and the 17 to 24 team.

They both play in league, cup and pairs knock out competitions. These are open to all members to represent the club.

Matches are usually played on Saturdays only. Please contact the relevant Captains if interested.
